2023 Gala Night Raises £2380 for White Lodge Centre
On Friday 28th April, under the leadership of WM W.Bro. Mark ‘ Bugsy’ Malone, members of Priory Gate Lodge along with family and friends held a Gala Night dinner in aid of the White Lodge Centre at Chertsey.
The evening, organised by Kay Paice, wife of the Lodge’s Almoner, W.Bro. Colin was a huge success and raised £2380.00 for the Surrey based centre which supports children, young adults and adults with disabilities.
Kim Owens, Community & Challenge Events Fundraiser for White Lodge writes:
This kind support generated by Mark, Kay and Priory Gate Lodge will enable us to provide 40 hours of hydrotherapy for children with complex disabilities. Our whole White Lodge community thanks you sincerely for this vital support needed to run our services.
This year we have been celebrating 61 years of service and from our humble beginnings in 1962 where we supported forty children with cerebral palsy we now offer over a vast range of services and practical support for over 1,200 children and adults who have a wide range of physical and learning disabilities.
Whilst we do receive statutory support, it is nowhere near enough to provide all the services and facilities that our community depend on. We are therefore so reliant on donations and fundraising from people and organisations like yours.
Thank you so much for choosing White Lodge, it really makes a huge difference.
